In this clip, I talk about teachers’ lives beyond the classroom and how it can be challenging to leave some energy in the tank for family and friends on the weekend. Still, we have to remember the people who support us and make it possible to offer so much of ourselves to our profession and students. I am reminded of this especially this weekend for reasons I share in this video.
Two things stuck with me from your video Slice: “Show them love in the way you know how.” and “Have a little bit left in your tank at the end of the week for your family, but maybe more importantly for yourself.” Great thoughts!
